Diversity in Hiring
A diverse body of faculty and staff is vital to the university’s success. Diversity doesn’t just happen by accident, and it takes intentional effort to turn a diverse group into an inclusive work environment. Get hiring guidance from the Office of Equity and Inclusion.
Policies and Reporting
Each one of us plays a role in making TXST a safe environment, and to do so, we have obligations to report certain issues that may happen at the university.
Texas State University, to the extent not in conflict with federal or state law, prohibits discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, veterans’ status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. Diversity Connections Directory
Diversity Connections is a directory that gives students the opportunity to search faculty and staff based on their racial/ethnic background, Ally status (Ally of Texas State, Trans Ally, Veteran Friendly Ally, and Dreamer Ally), Department/Office, and Veteran Status. The goal of the Diversity Connections directory is to help students connect with Texas State faculty and staff who can serve as mentors, advocates, and a support system.
